WONDERING WHAT COURSE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Music Literacy, How to Read Music and More – Majority of violin teachers do not incorporate music theory into private violin lessons. I believe it is an extremely important aspect that should not be overlooked. This course teaches notereading and basic music theory. A must for every violin student lacking basic music theory knowledge.
Strengthening Exercises for First Position E-Course and E-book – This course is right for you if you feel you need to improve technique, intonation and note reading for first position. Comes with Play Along videos for the exercises.
Mastering Third Position with Finger Patterns E-Course and E-book – After taking this course you will have mastered third position. It is as if I am your private teacher for third position. The videos walk you through the specific finger pattern, the names of the notes and finger relationships. All violinists in Suzuki Book 4 need to be working on third position. I would suggest starting third position while in Suzuki Book 3. If you feel that your notereading in first position is superb knowing the note names (not numbers) go ahead and start with Mastering Third Position E-Course. If you are still reading first position by numbers, start with Music Literacy, How to Read Music and More and Strengthening Exercises for First Position.
The 52 Violin Proficiency Exercises – is a full spectrum program which would be excellent for you and would provide the technique to supplement your lessons. Being a full spectrum program it is an overview spanning perhaps seven years and not a laser focus into specific techniques. (As a student of this program you get 20% off new course releases for the first week of each course release.)
All courses come with technical support, facebook study group access, bonus materials and OVE exercise books specific to that course. Be sure to visit the course pages to view FAQs before contacting us with any questions or concerns. Most questions are answered on each course page.
